Maybelline 24 Hr Color Tattoo Metal in Inked in Pink and Barely Branded

I have blogged about Maybelline Color Tattoos before (read HERE) and have liked it but never really liked using it because at that time I find it best applied using fingers and I do not like using fingers for hygiene purposes. But I’ve discovered since then that the perfect tools for applying and blending are duo fibre brush like MAC’s 286 and 287.

For this collection of metallics, I chose Inked in Pink and Barely Branded. I’ve been itching on getting the whole collection but in the end chose these two. The other shades are a silver, gold and blue. These eye shadows are creamy, easy to blend, can be sheered out or built up for intensity. They last for ages on me and they do not fade or crease. I don’t see myself using it by itself (or together), too light for my skin tone (and preference) but I love using it as a base to give my eye look a little bit of radiance.

I would like to think they would look awesome on someone with a lighter skin tone than myself. Also try it out as a base for a change.

I purchase them at Walgreens for $6.99 and last time I checked it is still available in most drugstores (big surprise there). I saw them still available at Walgreens, CVS and Rite-Aid.
