I finally found the elusive Revlon Spring 2013 collection. I’ve been hearing about it arriving at the East Coast stores and of course it took a century to arrive here at the West Coast.

I spotted it at CVS and made use of my extrabucks. I’ve heard so much about the Baby Sticks and reviews are erring on the negative side. Apparently they are very sheer and does not last very long on the cheeks or on the lips, so I decided to skip them. If you want swatches, Project Swatch has it up, you can take a peek at it HERE.

I got this set from Sephora when it first came out but for whatever reason the pictures I took got lost. Out of the blue it has resurfaced so I wish to share (please indulge me :). This set is exclusive to Sephora and it is now sold out, however, if you’re still looking for one I saw a set available at Bonanza for double the price (yikes!).

Quick note about the collection…The eyeshadows are velvety, finely milled, easy to blend. I didn’t experience any fall out and creasing. I didn’t experience fading as I seldom wear makeup longer than 7 hours. With the cream eyeliners, I love the color selection in this set. They were creamy, easy to apply. They are not long lasting though. The cheek and lip tints is a wonderful quad of cooler pink, warmer pink, nude mauve, and a cranberry-ish shade. They are creamy and easy to blend on the cheeks. I’m not happy with the lack of staying power. On the lips, it’s not overly drying but it’s definitely not hydrating. So the liner and cheek & lip tint are not the best things in this collection but I’m more than happy with the four eyeshadow palettes.
