EOTD featuring Inglot 329M and 405 Pearl

my Inglot eyeshadows in Z palette

I don’t have experience at all when it comes to creating color combinations and what not. I’m not a makeup artist or anything relatively close to that. So bear with me here as I try to create some sort of look. Before I continue though let me just say that these Inglot eyeshadows are a really good alternative if you’re on a budget. They are nicely pigmented, does not crease and applies evenly. My only problem though was the wear time. This particular look on this particular day, my eyeshadow lasted only about 2 hours. Now I didn’t have any primer on but even though I didn’t have any, 2 hours is pretty short. But then on a separate occasion using two different eyeshadows, it lasted a decent 6 hours without primer without creasing. I don’t know, maybe it was just a fluke that happened that day. Anyhow, let’s continue on, shall we?

What do you think? I think I could use some more blending. I can see it now. Ahh…blend…blend…blend. Isn’t that what they say? Anyways, just made me look once again at Le Metier de Beaute Cebu Lip Creme (which I blogged about HERE). It’s absolutely gorgeous and you’re one lucky gal if were able to snag one.

I saw this tweet and if you know me, you know that I have this obsession to build a collection of all of Le Metier de Beaute’s kaleidoscopes. Unfortunately, I only knew about this wonderful brand late last year and so now I am missing a lot of the early k-scopes. So when the Neiman Marcus in Northbrook had their own exclusive limited edition eye kaleidoscope, it’s already a no-brainer. Last Saturday my package came and I can’t wait to share it with you.

Here’s some facts on Oak St. Beach from Chicago Traveller

Oak Street Beach, just north of the Magnificent Mile, is one of Chicago’s most popular spots to see and be seen. Oak Street Beach is a haven to inline skaters, cyclists, volleyball enthusiasts and, of course, sunbathers. The sandy beach is wide and concrete areas at either side are also popular for sunbathing and people-watching.

I layered all four shades from top to bottom and I blended it up and out. I lined my upper lash line using Le Metier de Beaute Precision Liquid Eyeliner in Noir with a slight wing. I topped it with the fourth shade in the kaleidoscope, the jewel toned teal.

What made me love about this k-scope is the last shade, the jewel toned teal. It totally made the otherwise nude k-scope pop. And it is not a flat teal but it is a really gorgeous jewel toned teal.
