I thought this set is truly perfect for travel. All I would need is some concealer and foundation and I’m all set to go. The eye shadow colors although not neutral is safe enough to suit all eye colors and suitable to go from day to night. Texture is fine-milled, buttery-soft. Can be layered for opacity or sheered out. I can’t say it’s long lasting though (lasted 4 hours on a hot day before it started fading on me) so to be safe I recommend using your trusted eye primer (mine is NARS Smudge Proof Eye Primer). They’re housed in a signed 3 pan palette sharing packaging with a cheek color. The exclusive second skin cheek color in Vintage Pink gives you that perfect rosy glow and I love how you can control it so you can go for a sheer, barely there glow or you can go all out for a just-got-back-from-running kind of flush. Now you know I love Caviar Sticks and I am loving this color, Twilight. It is a beautiful metallic grey. I’m not much for metallics especially silver but combined with the eyeshadows in this set, it is truly a beauty. The lip glace in Strawberry is a very sheer wash of color, definitely a safe choice. I like everything in doubles so I was looking to buy another Chanel Blush Brush (which I love) when I was introduced to this set. I love the brushes. They are soft but not too soft as they lose their shape. I love using this set because of the shorter handles which is perfect for personal use. If you’re looking for the perfect travel companion, I recommend this *thumbs up* 🙂

That looks amazing. I was searching for some information on this set, as I just ordered it from Nordstrom.com since they still have it. I’m a medium olive complexion…do you think the blush will work on my skin tone as a natural flush for winter? Do you love it?
I would think so. Plus it’s build able. I love this kit (the shades may not be limited edition) and it’s so great for travel or touch-ups. You can do a soft daytime look and smoke it out with the Kir Royale (the darkish plum shade). You wouldn’t be disappointed in the quality of the eyeshadow. If there’s one tip I can suggest is to use the caviar stick as a base on your eyelid. Swipe it across your eyelid 2-3 times then blend then do your eyeshadows as usual. I think in the direction it says to line the lash line with the caviar stick but on my skin tone it’s too light to create the smokey effect so I topped it off with Kir Royale then smudge out the edges. Yikes, so sorry for the very long response to your comment. Eeek! Hope you enjoy your kit when it arrives 🙂 xo, Emilie
