finally de-potted my MAC eyeshadows

I have a few MAC eyeshadows and with my growing makeup collection, small pots are very inconvenient when it comes to application and storage. So I decided to search YouTube for how to videos.

When it came to empty magnetized palette, I went to Nigels Beauty Emporium in North Hollywood to browse. I bought a small Z palette and a large Make Up Forever tin one.

I have an old MAC Pro Palette x4 and decided to use that for my new own custom creation.

I apologize for the yellowish lighting…

I like the versatility of a magnetized palette as it gives me the freedom to rearrange the contents as I choose. I am very much satisfied with the Z palette even if it’s made out of cardboard/paper. It’s a hard one kind of like the original Naked Palette from Urban Decay. I love how the top is clear, you can choose and decide without having to open the whole thing. And I totally appreciate that metal adhesive backings are included plus one extra in the package. For $13.75, it’s not bad. So I’m actually going to return the MUFE tin one and get another Z palette.

Yay! A DIY project done!

xo, Emilie
